Duration:
Children & adolescents: 3 sessions, 60 minutes each
Adults: 1–2 sessions, 60 minutes each
An evaluation is a series of clinical interviews to understand current emotional or behavioral concerns. At the end, I will provide recommendations, which may include therapy, medication, or both.
Children & adolescents:
Session 1: Meeting with parents and/or caregivers. With permission, I may also reach out to teachers for additional insights.
Session 2: Meeting directly with the child or adolescent.
Session 3: Review of findings and discussion of treatment options (therapy, medication, or other supports).
Adults:
One session is usually enough, but sometimes we schedule two when more information is needed (for example, in young adults transitioning from adolescence).
Duration: 45 or 60 minutes
Frequency: Typically weekly, sometimes twice weekly
Therapy methods are chosen based on your needs and preferences. These may include:
Supportive/Talk Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
If you are taking medication and seeing me for therapy, medication management will be included in your sessions.
Duration: 30 or 45 minutes
These follow-up appointments are for patients already established in care. The focus is to:
Review current medications
Monitor for side effects or interactions
Adjust doses or treatment plans if needed
Provide clear education about medications
My fees are based on the length of the appointment and whether the patient is a child, adolescent, or adult. We can go over rates together during your consultation.
I am an out‑of‑network provider with all insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid. Many patients are still able to use their out‑of‑network benefits to get partial reimbursement from their insurance. To make this easier, I will provide you with a billing statement that includes all the information your insurance company needs. I can also help streamline the process through Reimbursify.
